My granddaughter loves her Chef kits! She gets excited when they arrive and her parents enjoy helping her with them too. They were easy to order and a way to keep us connected with something she enjoys. I like that the company offers rewards like the $5 gift card to encourage us to try other kits too.

My grandson is six and my granddaughters are five (they’re twins), and they love doing it together. They get so excited when their package arrives and enjoy taking turns reading the directions and helping with the cooking.
Not only is it a great activity for them, but everything they make is delicious, which makes it even better. My daughter and I love these boxes. We get to work together, learn, have fun, and eat a yummy treat afterwards. My daughter gets so excited when her new box arrives. This is our second year doing these and she never tires from them.
My great grandson loved the kits. As a soon to be 14 year old, he’s now outgrown them, but it sparked a love for cooking in him. This has been a great experience for him and I highly recommend parents give this a try for their children. You won’t regret it.

We have been enjoying our monthly subscription so much. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because the dyes are always broken and all over the dye bag when I get them. But we are still able to do our bake/make. The instructions are clear, and the layout and colors are engaging. I love that the packaging has the design on the outside. When my child sees it, she knows it's for her, and she gets so excited. Thank you for the fun subscription.
Overall this is a fun experience. My kids are 9 & 5 - for us all kits require quite a bit of adult guidance and support - as we expected, but some are quite hard. I don't see this as a problem, I expected and wanted to be part of it. It also shows us that all the baking shows are more challenging than they look.
Some boxes produce delicious results and some are okay. The bagels looked amazing, but my kids don't like the seasoning, so we had very bland bagels.
Some kits give almost enough of an ingredient but not quite - certain kits could give a bit more to ensure we have enough for the results to look like the picture.
I wish the dye free kits had been available when we started - I would have chosen that. But, to be honest, the dye free kits appear to be color-free, rather than giving natural colorings.
