My 7 year old granddaughter has had so much fun making these recipes. She does need help but great quality time for both of us!
My grandchildren eagerly look forward to receiving their monthly cooking gift…little do they know it isn’t just fun, but grounded in their growth and development, too!
My son and his best friend (both 7 years old) made these today and had a lot of fun. They each made 2 cakes and decorated them the way they each liked. This was our first kit and we all had a lot of fun making these cakes. Lots of laughs and lots of tasting the different mixes. We are looking forward to the next kit!
They were just a bit challenging for a 6 yo to make, but he loved them anyhow!
My granddaughter is 6 years old. We’ve only done 3 so far, she enjoyed it so I’m going to buy more. I felt like I did most of the work. One was very complicated. It was the constellations Rice crispy treat kit way over her head and too hard to draw , but The gems I related to Snow White so she really enjoyed making that, and the Easter bunny chocolate cake, which seemed to be the easiest was a lot better for her .. so we’re going to continue on. It’s a great activity for Her and I to do once a month.
It’s so fun to do with your children and then afterwards you get a little treat keeps them off the screen time and engaged .Its nice for family time.
