My 4yr old grand loved getting his box each month. The boxes are great-easy to make and includes everything but the fun.
I tried another subscription first and it was a huge disappointment. The only reason I didn’t do ImtheChef first was b/c it was an auto renewal but they inform well prior to being charged so it wasn’t a problem. No hassle. Good customer service as well. A bit pricey but well worth it for time spent together in the kitchen and learning experience.
I’m leaving a honest review as part of a $5 account credit.
Firstly the concept is amazing, love the creativity and fun of opening a new baking project every month.
The things that i think they could improve on?
Shipping. Each month shippings from a totally different carrier from a different state and so shipping speed varies a LOT each month as does the care of the package. First box was all busted but usable. Last box was shipped with Amazon, was quick and not package issues. This next one looks like it’s coming from “speedX” so who knows. Don’t love that.
Second, pricing transparency. I initially signed up with an offer making it like $20 for the box. It was super clear if that would carry over with the subscription. (Fun fact it doesn’t) and I got to find out I’m paying almost $40 a month for the subscription now.
I’m still deciding if this is worth the almost $40 monthly or not but just some things to keep in mind!
My grandchildren loved making their own colored gemstones, then being able to eat them!
Grandkids LOVE these monthly boxes and find themselves looking ahead to see what is coming next!
Apron was a big hit with my granddaughter. She feels grown up wearing it!
Subscription is a gift for my 11 yr. Old granddaughter. She love them all and so does her sister
The kits are amazing! Such a great idea for quality time with my grandkids
Started getting this for my granddaughter who lives out of state and she is loving it. She lets me know what she receives and shows me the final results. My daughter loves this gift for her.
